The first Black Truffle store opened in Broadway Market in London's East End in 2003. The store features design-led shoes, bags, gifts, jewellery and homeware for men, women and children, and products are sourced from far and wide. Building upon its success in East London, owner Melissa Needham took its quirky concept to London's West End in partnership with David Capon. The second Black Truffle opened on Warren Street in 2006 and is fast rivalling its sister store as a one-stop destination for design aficionados. Black Truffle Warren Street is also home to the Prescott & Mackay School of Fashion and Accessory Design which offers short courses in shoemaking, bag making, millinery, corsetry and tutu making.
