The original manor house was located on the site of a mediaeval village and was rebuilt in 1840 with more recent enhancements to create extensive function and conference facilities, while keeping with the building's character. The approach is up a tree-lined drive and the hotel's interior contains many original features. All 49 bedrooms are tastefully decorated with en-suite facilities and many of the rooms enjoy splendid views over the gardens and nearby parklands of the Ouzel Valley.
