Spencer House was built for Earl Spencer between 1756 and 1766. It is one of London's finest surviving mid-18th century houses. Many rooms have a separate ambience and have been decorated in a Neo-Classical and Pompeian manner. Some rooms can be hired for large functions and charity events. The garden has been restored since 1990, and the paths are adorned with perimeter beds reminiscent of 18th century. Admission fees apply and concessions are available.
