The name Stac Polly comes from the famous Scottish mountain on the west coast of Scotland north of Ullapool. The restaurant maintains the Scottish theme throughout with tartan draperies and colour schemes that reflect heather clad hills that recall highland clans. The cuisine is mainly Scottish with slight European influences. Specialities include filo pastry parcels of haggis served on a sweet plum and coriander jus. Other favourites include wood pigeon, saddle of venison, west coast halibut, fillet of Scottish beef and lamb. Private rooms are available upon request.
