Merchant Adventurers Hall
Museums & Art Galleries in City Centre, YorkThe Merchant Adventurers Hall was built between 1357 and 1361. There are three sections to the hall - the first a business and social section, the second a chapel for religious study and prayers, and the third a hospital for the needy. The Chapel was rebuilt in 1411 using both stones and bricks. It can be hired out for many functions and business conferences and is licensed for civil marriages.Admision fees apply.
