Portland Leisure Centre was built in 1914 as a public wash and bath house. In 1983, it reopened after a major renovation as Portland Leisure Centre. It has many amenities for all kinds of sports, including a 30 metre long swimming pool, with viewing galleries for the public and full disabled access. Squash, tennis and badminton courts are also available, as well as a creche run by fully qualified staff.
