St David's Hall provides the city of Cardiff with a concert venue seating up to 2000 people, exhibition space, workshops, and a conference venue. They also have a range of bars, dining areas and cafes. The building itself is situated above the St. David's Shopping Centre. It was built in 1982 and was officially opened by the Queen Mother in 1983.
