Built in 1622, and situated in the historic Lady Stair's House, the Writers Museum is dedicated to the lives and works of Scotland's finest literary figures. These include Robert Burns and Robert Louis Stevenson. The collection includes paintings, photographs, manuscripts, etchings, bibles, pipes, walking sticks, quills, charcoal and many more personal artifacts from these famous writers
